The International Accountability Platform for Belarus is a consortium of independent Belarusian and international human rights organisations, composed of a Steering Committee and Advisory Council and supported by a Secretariat.

Steering Committee

The Steering Committee, responsible for leading the Platform’s work, is composed of the following organisations:

• DIGNITY – Danish Institute against Torture (lead)
• Human Rights Center Viasna (co-lead)
• International Committee for the Investigation of Torture in Belarus (co-lead)
• REDRESS (co-lead) 

Advisory Council

In addition to a number of Belarusian organisations that do not wish to be publicly listed for security reasons, the Advisory Council is composed of the following organisations:

• European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights (ECCHR)
• International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH)
• International Rehabilitation Council for Torture Victims (IRCT)
• Norwegian Helsinki Committee
• Physicians for Human Rights (PHR)
• Reporters Without Borders (RSF)
• World Organisation Against Torture (OMCT)

Secretariat

The work of the IAPB is carried out by a Secretariat composed of legal and medical practitioners with expertise and experience in international criminal investigations and prosecutions. The Secretariat is placed at DIGNITY’s headquarters in Copenhagen.
